God Made Me Special and He Loves Me Very Much

That was the theme for pretty B’s 8th birthday party. It was almost an all girl affair except for her little brother. After a scrumptious buffet lunch, the group gathered for a story entitled, “Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover”. The children learned that we should not judge others by their appearance. God made everyone different and we are to love as He has loved us.

Next was the all exciting, all challenging, all rounded station games, except that the children remain stationary around a table. A total of 11 tasks have to be completed to determine the winning team. The group was put through a mix of physical endurance, mental stimulations, hand-eye-coordination etc that utilized the gifts and talents of each member of the group. The winner emerged after an intense, nail-biting, 45 minutes.

The final activity was a flurry of frames and stickers as the children gathered in groups to decorate their photo frames. Some chose a garden theme with butterflies and bees, while others prefer creatures under the sea. Everyone was happy to bring home their one of a kind frame with a picture taken with our lovely birthday girl.

MFB had such a great time with the Little B and hopes she and her friends had a great time too!
